Encourage kids to stretch!! -Mom with Junior studying chemical engineering.[/quote] I second this. Engineering is hard but is rewarding. I am an engineer myself (electrical) and really enjoy my work. I had friends in college at started as engineers and decided to switch majors when they realized it wasn't for them but they graduated on time. If your child is interested, then I would encourage it. Regardless of their AP score, I recommend that they retake the AP classes related to their major so that it is fresh and covers the topics expected by their degree. Taking it again will help them understand the material better.[/quote]
