It is just one school, but I was told by an admissions office that the school would rather see the bad grade than someone drop a class because that is giving up. Dropping a class by itself can be a material change justifying rejection, or if already admitted, rescission. For example, I wouldn’t test Cal or UCLA on this.[/quote]
