It's still early in the school year. [/quote] +1 Yes, getting a tutor is an excellent idea, preferably one that gives your kid more confidence. As for rescission, it can also be dependent upon the major if the school admitted for a specific one such as a STEM one, including business. A C in Calculus AB may be less of a problem for a humanities or social sciences major and vice versa with an AP English class for a STEM student. It may sound crazy, but I called the admissions office at the Top 30 school that admitted my DS last year and talked to someone generally without giving out our family’s name and got some good guidance. Don’t recall if OP mentioned ED but there might be more latitude for a student admitted ED. Definitely not a one size fits all situation for anyone.[/quote]
