[/quote] Mine is on a college D1 dance team. Also no mean girls and no drama. They do have to be highly skilled but mine never did studio dance, just HS dance. HS dance did have drama though. It was tough on the girls who were targeted. OP, people are right that it depends on the school. My DD had to learn a lot of skills in order to make the team in HS. Her HS also offered a lot of dance electives and some were invitation only based on the skill level. Other schools didn’t require the same skill level. [/quote]
