[/quote] You’ll be fine as long as you have basic street smarts and aren’t out walking around drunk at night. WV Ave gets sketchy there and so does H St and possibly K St. So I don’t think strolling around there after dark will be fun. Pedestrian safety is likely a bigger issue - be careful crossing Florida and H. On the other hand don’t be scared of about walking to Union Market. It’s definitely a must in that location.
