Everyone is just primarily trying to get their family through life and secondarily promote America’s interests, they may just disagree about the best way to accomplish those goals.  Where they are wrong (and in the free country we want to preserve, people are allowed to have their opinion, even when it’s wrong), instead of treating them as if they are stupid/evil, look at where they’re coming from and find ways to show them that your side addresses their concerns better.  We need to peel of Republican voters to vote and protest on our side against dictatorship, not make them feel they need to defensively entrench themselves with MAGA against liberal attack.[/quote]
