He is having issues at school. Although his teachers say he is not disrespectful, he disturbs other kids by talking during class; he sometimes gets up out of his seat; asks to use the bathroom frequently; his rubik's cube distracted the other kids during class and was confiscated. I'm wondering what accommodations I can request from the school regarding his behavior and how best to manage it in the classroom. He has gotten kicked out of class several times this year for being too much of a disturbance.

Since they are private, I'm not sure what I can request from them. Would appreciate any feedback. Thank you.

Fyi, we tried guanfacine for awhile, but it made him sleepy and he did not want to continue it because he felt it interfered with his sports. We have an upcoming appointment with the doctor.[/quote]
