A number of other parents responsible for hot car deaths were never even charged. I'm a bit perplexed by this. [/quote] In most cases, the parents did not intentionally leave the child in the car. Often, it is something like mom usually takes baby to daycare but dad had to do it one day. Drives to work on autopilot completely forgetting he has the baby with him and goes into his office for the day. That does not even involve negligence or poor judgment. Just 100% accident. [/quote]
