We have T-Mobile, which seems to have become the slimiest. We've had it for a long time, and I liked the customer service, but that seems to be slipping, too. I'm not looking for a company that buys capacity from the big boys and touts its morality, just wondering if between T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon there's much of a difference.
We left a different large carrier for T-Mobile and find T-Mobile to be much better. So I disagree with your premise. That said, all "big 3" are publicly-traded stocks that are under profit and profit margin pressure. Not an excuse, just an observation about reality. Any other player either is very small/local (e.g., some rural telecom), is reselling mobile phone service, or both.
