I've done a bunch of research to see what has worked for other people and I've seen the Beachbody brand name thrown around a lot. And then my good friend just finished Insanity and also recommended that I looked into the Beachbody brand to see what other programs might work for me. I'm looking into trying out Les Mills Combat -- It has a combo of a bunch of different martial arts, so it seems like it'll be different than any other program I've tried. What other BB workouts have you guys had a success with?
P90X is a good program to start with. Even if you are very out of shape, the exercises are easily modified. The exercises are so varied that it's impossible to get bored. I love the yoga! Insanity is is really tough. People new to exercise could easily become discouraged. It can feel a little repetitive. And it is very intense. I'm in really good shape - marathon runner, work out every day,..... Insanity still kicks my ass every time. But I love it! The Chalean programs are not as difficult. Rev abs is another great little program. Les Mills is challenging. It's much easier if you have a little bit of martial arts background. It is really, really, really fun! Body Beast is great for men who are looking to bulk up. I wouldn't recommend it to most women. Honestly, they are all really good in their own way. You'll need to read through them and decide what you think works best for you based on your current fitness level and your goals.
