Title says it all. Test was taken Monday this week. The teacher preemptively told the class on that day there will be no retakes because it’s too close to the end of the quarter. We use a rolling gradebook. This is not true and against county policy. How do we handle?
My child said that they didn't have exams this week because there would not have been time for a make-up, any test would have been for the second quarter. I would suggest that your child should have had a few tests by now and should have a good idea about how to prepare for a test. If your child has needed retakes for the various tests in the subject ehn maybe they should be dropping out of honors and into regular math.
It doesn’t work like that. There have been only two summatives. First one didn’t need a retake, and second one does. My child has the right to retake any summative below a 90 to get a 90.
