But that other 20% of the time, I have to let them out on their own in the yard b/c my toddler is screaming, or I am on a work call, etc. This is usually when he eats a poop -- that for SOME REASON I did not see 2 hours before when I did a round of the backyard to pick up poops. He literally is able to find a poop in .2 seconds and eat it even if I have searched the yard that morning and thought it was clean.

Walks are super stressful as well b/c he snaps up random poops he finds and eats them before I can even see them in the grass. I have gotten to the point where i am constantly tugging him and not letting him even sniff for a second b/c I am worried there is a poop that I can't see.

I have tried switching foods, (from Natural Balance to Wellness, all premium foods), tried pumpkin and pineapple in his food, I have tried FORBID powder from the vet, etc. NOTHING WORKS.

Please tell me there is a miracle out there that will stop this disgusting habit!!! To top it off, he is a licker and often licks my toddler. He is on parasite meds and up to date on his shots. [/quote]
