You are missing my point. They might have a wrong impression about how women your age look like, simply because they see all the lying profiles of other women. So let’s say you are 55, and they are looking at profiles of women who are actually 65 biological age. They think “oh, a 55 yo woman looks too old to me”.

So in fact the only way for you to meet men closer to your own age (by probability) would be also misstating your age.

I went on dates with men who just joined the apps. They were amazed by a huge difference in looks between the women of similar age in RL. I had to explain that the women they thought were in 40s looked way older in RL because likely they were in their 50s.

A lot of men don’t know the magnitude of misstating  the  age on OLD . It is about 50%  of women I think but would be great to know real numbers [/quote]
