DP. Yeah...my teen stepsons don't do this. They just shut themselves in their rooms and go on screens. Sometimes they are doing stuff on screens with friends, I think.

NP. How old are they?  My son and his friends were a lot like that before 16. Now they are seniors and some of his friends have graduated but here, attending college locally.   When they all started driving they go out a lot more.  All have part time jobs too but didn’t until they were older teens. They are 17 and 18 now.

Yesterday they went out to eat earlier in the day and drove around somewhere in the evening. They all met up some place and hung out a while, or so he said. He was home around 11.  He still spent plenty of time on video games during the day. He didn’t have to work yesterday.  [/quote]
