I am considering going now, a few weeks in advance, to get acrylic extensions done at a salon so that I can be sure the person does a good job and that I like the look. From what I've read, I'd need to get a "fill" before the actual wedding. I'm wondering if getting a fill looks different/less good than getting them done from scratch all over again? Should I get them removed and have a completely new set put on a few days before the event? Or should I just wait till a few days before the event and trust that I'll be happy with the result?

Is there something special I need to request so that they don't come out looking too thick? I want them to look as natural as possible.
