Teachers absolutely do not have any power. Unless they have a checked out admin. And I think there would be more issues than grading then. This is coming from your child. Who doesn’t see the whole picture or understand the nuances of grading expectations, especially for special education and EML students. If teachers had any power, believe me - MCPS would not be in the academic decline it is. [/quote]
