Top Private School in our area (K-12), went all 13 yrs. Relatively weak student for our school’s standards with a LD and Inattentive ADHD, 3.02/4.0, never got past algebra 2 but did take AP Gov and Honors French. Very weak Math and Science student in general but decent writer. 27 ACT and 1200 SAT, never a varsity athlete but played sports every year, lots of church involvement and a member of the school’s honor society for service work.

She did really well in admissions - got in University of Tennessee, Auburn, Ole Miss, Alabama, Wofford, College of Charleston and Deferred admission at Clemson. She ended up at her top choice and has been very happy, and with better grades then HS and a liberal arts major.

Was curious if this was a typical acceptance return? Asking because she had similar results to her friends with slighty higher grades and scores. I have a junior with similar stats right now so curious if this was a typical experience [/quote]

Auburn is very difficult from out of state.  Auburn is all about test scores and GPA so I'd say that admit is surprising. Lots of kids from the top private schools in our area don't get into Auburn.[/quote]
