When you lose weight you don’t just lose fat, you also lose muscle mass. Has anyone been able to lose weight on GLP-1’s without also losing muscle mass?
Yes, I have. I’ve done strength training and monitored my muscle mass with InBody scans the entire time I’ve been on a compounded tirz. I only had about 15 to lose though and did it very slowly (down 12 over the course of a year). I stayed on the lowest dose. As someone else mentioned it’s just really hard to limit calories during peri without gaining. I couldn’t lose without being constantly hungry and obsessed with food. Great tool for me but I also agree lose of muscle mass is a huge concern and you need to be smart about it.
