I’m looking for a SFH in McLean to upsize my living. Budget $2-2.5m. Target a newish house (built within 20 years) that’s 5500+ sqft. Seems impossible in this market.
Newer construction homes on smaller lots in West Mclean or Pimmit Hills maybe? YOu won't find new construction (even 10 yrs old) on .3-.5 acre lots in Mclean because most new construction homes on bigger lots were built in excess of sq.ft you need, they are bigger and built for luxury buyers. In this range you are looking at an older faux-colonial (older mcMansions) that may need refurbishing and modernizing which isn't cheap to do. Or a remodeled modernized, expanded split level or ranch if you are into midcentury modern type of stuff. I am surprised you cannot find any, there are many homes in this price range
Primitive hills is not McLean
