Aluminum cookware was popular for a short period in the 1960s-70s, but then the link was established and went out of favor. Cans were another big source of the toxic metal, but then corporations/gov required they be lined with plastic to prevent leaching of the metal. Now we have microplastics. Ugh! Cooking with foil is foolish to do on a regular basis and probably the largest source of Al in the average person's diet now. [/quote]
