OP here. No. My take is not that only white refugees will be allowed to apply. My title that began "Only whites need apply" is hyperbolic for effect (because that what it feels like), but I said nothing else about the topic. I just quoted the NYT article referenced in the tweet.

If you feel the title was "disinformation," you are welcome to ask Jeff to change it. I would suggest the following as an alternative title: "Changes to refugee program will prioritize White South Africans." I think it is accurate and fair.

It's rich that you would be offended by posts on an anonymous message board that you think engage in disinformation when our very own government lies to us EVERY SINGLE DAY right out in the open and unashamedly. Not to mention the MAGA trolls on this board who spread lies, conspiracy theories, and worse all the time. [/quote]
