I haven’t noticed right wingers being portrayed as fearful because they dislike cities, but I have seen them frequently portrayed as fearful of people who are not just like them: minorities, immigrants, transgender people, people who aren’t Christian.

Trump’s rhetoric is fear mongering.

*Haitian immigrants are eating the dogs, they’re eating the cats.

*Mexico is sending us their rapists and emptying out their asylums and sending those people here

*Schools are transitioning students so they come home from school as a different gender
