The 3 county rec pools in Loudoun are actually not good meet pools and Chinn and Colgan HS in Prince William are only ok so I'm not sure how much this is going to help if it passes.

I don’t think the issue is whether they are good pools, it is the fact that PVS has been using those pools for meets for quite a while. Claude Moore and Audrey Moore are routinely sites of the PVS Opens. Colgan HS is used for the November Open and some PVS clubs use it to host their own meets. Freedom Center in PWC is also used to host PVS meets. I think VA swimming wants extra money from PVS for hosting meets in “their” territory. Most of this is driven by NCAP and the fact that it has 2 large sites (NCAP Loudoun and NCAP West) operating out of these counties. [/quote]
