People, if you can, contact and keep contacting State Highway Admin SHA and your [b]elected[/b][i][u] county members!There are parents who have been working and advocating to bring safer crossing of crosswalks and intersections especially around schools. Some success stories but so much more needs to be done. There is a parent at BCC HS who has for few years tried to get the county and state to install a pedestrian crossing near the intersection of East West Highway and Montgomery in Bethesda to no avail. A few accidents were reported at that location. Do what you can do! [/quote]
