Prior to joining Holton-Arms, Susanna spent eight years as Head of School for The Ethel Walker School, a day and boarding school for girls in grades six-12 in Simsbury, CT, and six years as Upper School Director at Marlborough School, an all-girls school for students in grades seven-12 in Los Angeles, CA. After retiring from Holton-Arms, Susanna became a practice leader at the educational consulting firm Carney, Sando, and Associates. She also continued to promote girls’ education as Executive Director of The 1911 Group, an association of heads of school that emphasizes female leadership. She wrote a monthly blog for the Association of Academic Leaders at One Schoolhouse, of which she was a founder. A service will be held on Monday, September 29 at 2:30 PM at St. Anne’s Parish, 199 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis, MD 21401. Reception to follow at the Parish Hall.[/i] [/quote]
