It was a major selling point for my DS. All that's on their website is this: "Silicon Valley Program 2025 - 2026 The Silicon Valley Program is currently under review and will not be offered during the 2025-2026 academic year. Email SVP staff at svp@cmc.edu for additional information." https://www.cmc.edu/silicon-valley-program Are they making other cuts? Is this related to their President resigning? Does anyone know if they've identified a successor for the outgoing President yet?
Pomona parent here Are they making other cuts? No, they just built a massive integrated sciences building and are actively doubling the footprint of their campus. Is this related to their President resigning? No? I’m not even sure how these are related. Chodosh is still the president, and he didn’t resign- he just didn’t renew his contract with the board- he’s been at CMC for twice the amount of time the average US college president stays at a college. Does anyone know if they've identified a successor for the outgoing President yet? No? Why would they have? They still have a president until summer 2026- all this information is readily available: https://www.cmc.edu/presidential-search They haven’t gotten rid of the Silicon Valley program- as you said, they’re reviewing it and they gave you a contact to find more information.
