[/quote] +1 People don't hire nannies because they need them, all the time every work day. They hire them because they have the money and need someone when they can't be there. As a single parent you need that--it's going to be difficult to cobble together reliable babysitters who are at your beck and call at the moment you decide you're going to have a difficult work week.
