They're supposed to be doing a HIAT review. They did assign her a case manager, which DD told me, but they haven't contacted me yet. I'm trying to get things in place for her before classes get too nuts and she gets behind.

I get that the start of school is crazy. But how much should I be pushing to get things moving? It's so irritating to keep sending emails, cc'ing the principal and getting nowhere. Email the parents back!!

You call you make an appointment with the Principal and all the other parties

Then you say we are here to make a plan for my daughter since you all have not done your jobs.

Never ever just call, do everything in writing. Call for follow up sure, but it doesn’t count if it’s not in writing.[/quote]
