[/quote] Don't agree that AO's are all saying that or with that sentiment. If the kid has a great all around package (EC's, sports and all of that), but may be a point or even two below the median - still submit. My kid did and got accepted into a Top 10 and 20 and both were TO schools. I think the risk is if you don't submit they could conclude your score is way lower than it actually was. So, in my opinion, submit if close to median but slightly under as opposed to TO if rest of package is impressive. Some can disagree, but that was our personal experience last cycle.[/quote]
