I mean, if they had a bad experience, they had a bad experience. That doesn't make them shitty people. We had a terrible experience at a new restaurant in their second week. Service was incredibly slow, they forgot our drinks, they were out of two dishes we ordered (it was only 7pm!), but I didn't write them a bad review because the food was good and we hope to go back in a month or two in the hopes that their service has gotten better (reminder to waitstaff: stop flirting and do your jobs).
The boyfriend gave a 1 star review and said it was because the manager didn't come over to say hello to him and the food was expensive...super weird review. Especially since you can see the prices before going to the restaurant. Our food was great, fast service, etc. But even if theirs wasn't why try to ruin a new business?
How do you know another review was the boyfriend of their first review? A married couple would have the same last name but why do you assume this other bad review was affiliated with the first?
They referred to themselves as boyfriend / girlfriend in the review. I also am friends with his ex wife but don't know him personally.
