My mom (age 70) is on ozempic for weight loss. She is constantly going out for pizza and ice cream, and buying junk food for home. (More than once per week) I thought ozempic reduces appetite? She is losing weight (5'5, 150 and dropping) but still eating this stuff.
When I was on a semaglutide I lose weigh eating whatever I wanted. The difference was I got full a lot faster and was only eating 3 meals a day vs snacking a lot. For the first time in my life I felt like normal person- eating all things in moderation and not randomly grabbing snacks. So while she is eating these things she is not over consuming if she is still losing weight. Of course not eating enough protein is not good for her long term health and maintaining muscle mass as she loses weight.
