Usually boys who were tall as children end up tall, but not always. Seems like sometimes they just stop growing early and end up average height at most. Same with the boys who are short during childhood (usually end up short but not always). From ages 12-15ish it is all over the place with boys & you can’t really predict anything. One could be nearly done growing while the other hasn’t even started yet.

Sometimes people have a kid that doesn’t seem to “match” at all height-wise. We know two short parents who have a 6’2” son.

IMO your DS being tall is a good sign for being tall later- but that is really all it is- a sign. By no means is it entirely predictive.

The only kids that are highly highly likely going to be tall are the ones who have 2 tall parents IME. And even then, there could always be a surprise. [/quote]
