They were a big help in helping us figure out curricular alignment etc when I moved my kid back from overseas, but it was high school not middle school. If I have to guess, I would think it would be hard to assign an MCPS “honors” weighting to a school about which MCPS has no knowledge. In middle school anyway, my kid’s middle school record from the years before he was at McPS is entirely absent from his MCPS record (it doesn’t appear as part of his GPA.)[/quote]
