that was before ADHD meds.  Now 2 months in with meds, his behavior, focus and emotional regulation is much better, we are happy to see the big change and the recent assessment ruled out ASD.

To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if he got level 1 diagnosis based on my observation that he lacks in social skills at least a little.

but the recent evaluation concluded he has ADHD and social pragmatic com. deficit.  Overall, we feel much more comfortable and accurate with the second eval.  The first one was done for the school by the doctor hired by school to give them a reason to counsel out peacefully as they cannot handle ASD/ADHD kid.  I have no regret because it was clear that the school is not the right place for our son, so no argument about that.

it's just how they handled the whole process. to me very disingeneous and unethical.  well, it's past now, so we should just move on.[/quote]
