Some factors would impact when you start dating, such as:

Do you have children? If so, how old are they? If they are out of the house (e.g., living on their own or in college), it will be easier to start dating before the divorce is finalized.
   Have you discussed this with your attorneys? Specifically, are you sure that even if your "soon-to-be ex" agrees that you both can start dating, they cannot use this fact during the divorce?
   Do either of you know someone you plan to date as soon as you can? It can be problematic (for a variety of reasons) if one of you starts dating someone seriously right after you two agree to get divorced.  [/quote]
