I've had them my whole life. I get them burned off. Recently I did a topical treatment that is technically a form of chemotherapy to get tiny ones and ones under the surface.
Tell me more- she suggested the chemotherapy cream as a possibility for this winter. When I researched it, people had horrible things to say about it, but obviously better than cancer.
I did it on my nose. It was effective and ugly, but not horrible. I was out of public for about 10 days. I had systemic reaction (headache, GI symptoms, extreme lethargy) that I was not prepared for but were fine. After that I got approved for Photodynamic therapy and did that. (https://www.levulan.com/). I plan to do that annually, it can treat the whole face at once with just 2 days of down time but it's not quite as effective, but If I do it annually, hopefully. that will be good enough. That was so interesting, the whole side of my face that was exposed in the car lit up/reacted and the other side just didn't quite as much. with that one, you have to stay in almost complete darkness for 2 days, but after that, you are good.
Long term, I am glad I did both. There is a face book gropu I found out about here where you can ask questions about the cream.
What is the group called? Also, thank you for being so helpful!
