Sorry for all the typos, was on my phone. I meant toss in a saucepan and cook the apples. I usually use a moderate heat and stir frequently. Use a potato masher at the end to mush them up. As for store bought (which I know was the original question, but homemade is so much better and super easy) I prefer Mott's naturals with no sugar added.[/quote]
