You can't video chat with every company you deal with and not everything can be done online. Making a doctor's appointment for example. Some places I go to, you can put a message in the portal but they call you with questions. I can't ask the office receptionist to video chat. Its just a needed life skill.[/quote]

I think it's harder to do things always by video or by text, email or portal.  But honestly I have a young adult son with disabilities who never uses the phone to talk to anyone.  It's all text or email.  And, he handles all of his own medical care.  [/quote]
