But you will get to a point where it just doesn't matter anymore. I am only just getting there now and it's been 2 years. Before, I wanted every damn detail to try to make sense of things. In the end, I am no closer to understanding than I was before, because I am never going to get an honest answer that isn't some combo of revisionist history and BS. It was a conscious choice on my part to practice radical acceptance – it is what it is – to try to keep me from being that bitter dumped person who gets stuck in their divorce story and never moves on.
