I don't know how well your budget will work for Bethesda, but there are very good school options in the Bethesda area, and ample shopping. The big problem is that you're not going to love the traffic. It's going to be a lot worse than an area of Raleigh where traffic jams don't last any longer than 15-20 minutes. To give you some perspective, Cary, where my relatives live, compares very favorably to Bethesda, although not so well with where you live.[/quote]
