I promise I am fairly laid back, I was just trying to formulate my thoughts in a way that would get some specific answers. I recognize that for now, these types of friendships are not that deep. I'm not on the lookout for lifelong friends or anything; I just want to be part of some sort of community that I lost when I moved way from where I used to live. At least for me, the actual "close friends" that I've made throughout my life really come when you see someone repeatedly for a long period of time and also get along well enough where you feel really comfortable with each other.
