It isn’t a league wide call since the conditions could vary across the league, both weather conditions and pool rules. It would be a decision of the referee and the two teams’ reps. But it is very unlikely for a Saturday meet since the teams have all day for the weather to clear. [/quote]

This. There are some pools where just waiting all day to get the meet in is not an option. This is why A meets are in the mornings, thunder and lightning are generally not a problem and meets can go on in the rain as long as the bottom of the pool is visible. [/quote]

+1. Different pools have different bylaws and stakeholder expectations. For a good portion, pool operations do not center on the swim team.
