He gave her some sort of prep medication along with an HCG shot and ordered her to take the shot and then within 24-48 hours have intercourse. 2 weeks later we got a positive test and initially I thought it was leftover HCG from the shot, but now we're almost at the end of the first trimester.

How is it that the Dr's here couldn't figure it out? Why didn't they recommend the shot for us when literally the first time it worked? It really makes me think less of US Dr's. Plus we spent 10x here what we did back home.[/quote]
