Her entrance in the campaign would also soothe the anxieties of Jewish New Yorkers (and those that have made the move down to Florida in recent years).

This could be the recipe of a blockbuster media matchup:

Mamdani, the telegenic Muslim son of immigrants, social media wunderkid, and political neophyte

vs.

Tisch, the Jewish daughter of real estate magnates, heiress to a multibillion fortune, and long time & deeply connected NYC civil servant (albeit with a wooden personality)

This campaign would be the acute distillation of all the stresses running through our society right now: billionaires vs W2 workers, religious conflict, social media popularity vs traditional political coalition building.
