Last year my kid could hardly get into the A meets at 7 despite being legal in all four strokes because there were a ton of 8 yr olds (now 9). So different from their sibling who swam fly at every A meet when they were 7 because only 3 of them could get legal all summer. It really depends on the team and the year. [/quote]
