I enjoyed watching it just because I was really craving a romantic movie with big stars like Pedro Pascal and Chris Evans- you don't see that that much these days.
But what year is it that these people smoke so much?
I like the modern take on matchmaking, I even like the fact that it faced the reality of stuff like SA.
But the slow pacing was mind numbing.
The discussion of not being "in love" was so nebulous. I mean Harry is literally perfect and you are in the "business" and enough of a big girl to know that initial spark stuff fades, and that you can absolutely build a wonderful life together. It's like choosing an absurd idea of what love is over actual happiness.
She's going to choose John and how you going to-- not even just be not rich-- but aggressively poor in NYC? Those children you see that look like her? Where are you putting them? The plan is for her to kick ass and make good money and him to just chase that dream? It was dumb.

The way John was living at almost 40 is too pathetic. I know people like this, yes, but you don't choose them over a very nice and loving unicorn like Harry. To not make your life decent if you have the means is a mental health issue.[/quote]
