I am not a team rep so I am trying to imagine how that conversation goes.[/quote] I’ve cornered someone ON THE DECK at a meetwho had actually signed up but was just chilling on his phone and he said flat-out “yeah, I’m not going to do it.” One more rep confronted him and got the same spiel, and another embarrassed dad overheard and stepped up. The DD swam the rest of the season but didn’t show up at champs or any summer after that. He’s now on our local school board because there was a mid-term departure and someone he appeared there. When he has to run, I can’t wait to run a whisper campaign against him on the sole platform of “bails on summer swim volunteering.” [/quote]
