Over ten years ago, we painted the interior trim of our house a creamy white color. I bought the paint from Lowe’s and I think the brand was Valspar and I think the color was called ‘Cookie Crumb’ or ‘Crumb Cookie’ or something cookie-related. Now I’d like to touch up the trim and of course I can’t find the color. I see a PPG paint called ‘Crumb Cookie,’ but it’s described as (and looks) more gray than white in online photos. https://www.matchmypaintcolor.com/ppg/crumb-cookie-ppg18-01 and https://www.ppgpaints.com/color/color-families/neutrals/crumb-cookie 1. Do paint colors ever change or go away? 2. Is there a way to search for paint colors that were sold a decade ago? Even if I can’t find the exact color, it would be good to find something close. I could show up with photos of my current trim color, but it would be pure guesswork. Maybe I’ll get a sample of the PPG to see if it matches? Usually we snap a photo of the paint lid before we toss everything, but I can’t find that either!
