The correct answer is already above. That said, I guess some may quibble with calling USYS NLC Rec ... Their top-level teams can and do beat teams in the elite leagues. In a lot of ways, the NLC, especially pre-E64, was and is a better system of competition than the rest, because they actually do promotion and relegation, so all the teams are a similar high level who earned their spot. When they added E64, that system lost a bit of depth but remains still fairly strong. Many of their best players end up in the "elite" leagues because USYS college recruiting is where it's been lacking (They've tried to improve but it's still far behind). It's more than just that list. Kids who play USYS NL continue to excel and end up on MLSN/GA/ECNL top teams. [/quote]
