Where do you stay near Ohiopyle? Nemacolin is definitely not in our budget for this trip, but everything else looks drab.

I was also thinking Pittsburgh might be a solid choice. Other than the bird aviary, and of course summer activities I would research, any other points of interest? Where (what area) would you recommend we stay? [/quote]

We do this trip a lot and stop in Pittsburgh. Are you traveling with all adults or with kids? Carnegie  Science Center and Museum of Natural Science and History are excellent, we like riding the funicular to get a view of the city, in the winter PPG has a great outdoor ice skating rink.[/quote]
